Tuli: from friends-and-family sales to a premium ecommerce service

Business plan and operating system built from zero, plus a change to the service model itself: the fitting travels to the customer instead of the customer travelling to the shop.

Tuli sold made-to-measure and ready-to-wear garments to friends and family. There was no online store, no business plan and no measurement in place. Sigma Reef's founder built the plan and the operating system from scratch and proposed a change to the service model itself: instead of the customer travelling to the shop, the fitting travels to their home. That single change moved the offer from a routine service to a premium one, and the business moved from physical-only to ecommerce.

The result

Measured over the first 30 days after launch: monthly made-to-measure dress sales grew by 900%, and monthly garment sales grew by 900%—a tenfold increase in each line.

Limitations

Limitations stated plainly: there was no analytics baseline before the engagement, so the prior figures are the owner's own records; the absolute numbers are small; and the result reflects a business-model change as much as an ecommerce build.

Context

This is a from-zero build in a different market and category from the WooCommerce brands Sigma Reef serves today. It is published as evidence of judgement and execution, not as a projection of what a Diagnostic will produce. Published with Tuli's written permission.

The proof standard

A named claim appears on this site only when it can show a baseline, the intervention, the result, the measurement period and source, its material limitations, and the client's written permission for the exact wording. Where a client's identity is withheld under a standing confidentiality policy rather than published outright, the same evidence bar applies to the numbers—the name is simply not for public use. Implementation facts are presented as implementation facts—never converted into performance claims without outcome evidence.
